The Social Network Review
Hey everyone, it is currently 11:49 p.m, and I just saw The Social Network. let me start off by saying that I now understand why it won Best Motion Picture at the Golden Globes. Secondly, I now have a new respect for drama movies. But enough of my useless ranting, lets get on with the review. The Social Network is actually based off of a book with a name so long that I'm to lazy to type it here, and that book is based off of how Mark Zuckerburg invented Facebook. SO yes, the movie is based off of the real story of the birth of Facebook. Now i'll try to say my feelings on the movie without spoiling it, so here we go. I thought Jesse Eisenburg did a fantastic job portraying Zuckerburg, and the rest of the cast did a marvelous job portraying the rest of the characters. The plot was pretty good, there were a lot of computer terms I didn't really understand, but I got most of the movie. The atmosphere was very fitting to the college lifestyle, while somehow I just feel that the real story of Facebook's creation had been, "Hollywood-tized" for the big screen, The Social Network was an extremly well-made movie. I give it 4.5 starts out of 5.
